DEFINITION
- Soils with little or no profile differentiation - Sandy. Other soils having: 1. a weighted average texture class of loamy sand or coarser, if layers of finer texture have a combined thickness of < 15 cm, to a depth of 100 cm from the mineral soil surface; and 2. < 40% (by volume) of coarse fragments in all layers within ≤ 100 cm of the mineral soil surface.
