FAOSTAT Commodity List (FCL)

The FCL is the classifications of products used for the statistical purposes in FAO. FCL was developed in the 1960s and was originally based on SITC, the Standard International Trade Classification of the UN. It includes 683 commodities, both primary and processed products, grouped into 20 chapters. Although still in use, FAO is replacing FCL with CPC.
